Description

The Boys & Girls Club also known as “The Club” serves 650 members a year through local little league Basketball and Flag Football. The Club has an active after school program with a daily attendance of roughly 30 kids. It is the only out of school program for youth aged 5-14 in southern Apache County.

Beside the focus on academics, The Club teaches youth about social responsibility through their various volunteer activities and teaches life coping skills through by teaching enjoyment in hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking and camping. The Club is a place where youth learn to practice these self- management skills.

The Club is a safe haven where kids can seek refuge from the storms they may face in their family and personal lives. GREAT FUTURES START HERE! and personal lives.

The Springerville-Eagar Regional Chamber of Commerce represents all Southern Apache County – Springerville, Eagar, Nutrioso, Alpine, Greer, Concho, Vernon and St Johns. The Chamber unites and supports business members, promotes business growth, and pursues the development of tourism, and other commercial opportunities. Our local municipalities and county do not have the funds to support our local non-profits it is our pleasure to hold this raffle to help keep the doors of the Boys & Girls Club open. We host the White Mountain Dinosaur Museum in part of our building.
